Hour and a half for a sloppy, cold, overpriced bagel. I placed an order online and was told it would be an hour. I arrived 20 min early and was almost scolded for arriving early. Then when I came back in 20 min my order was still not ready.
I have ordered once before at a non-busy time and it still took 20 min. The sandwich was ok. Enough for me to return again especially being very close to my house. But after this visit I will never be returning to Exodus Bagels.
Ticket times seem very long for the amount of people in the kitchen. The bagels are ok but the operation is inefficient.
Best bagel sandwich I have ever had!! The salt bagel is perfectly flavorful, the horseradish and dill cream cheese was fantastic, and all the ingredients in the sandwich were fresh and well portioned! Service was quick and efficient. I'll definitely be back!
Best bagels around. Consistently delicious and available without the wait using their website. Service has been impeccable for a counter spot. Atmosphere? You’re outside, but there is a tunnel under train tracks nearby. That’s cool.
Came to Exodus Bagels because of a recommendation from a friend, and it did not disappoint! The bagel itself was crunchy on the outside with a soft, chewy interior, and all of the bagel sandwiches were creative and eye catching (I had a hard time choosing between delicious options as a pescatarian)! I chose the egg and cheese with garlic butter and added avocado mash, it was a delight! The seating is cute, but there is only outdoor seating, with a few tables that aren’t covered, so make sure to come on a day with good weather if you want to eat there. Luckily we had decent weather (only light rain) when we came.
this is essentially the perfect bagel shop. the quality is outrageously high. only thing i wish is that they had somewhere to eat indoors. i’d hang out all day and try everything on the menu.
to the people having issues with ordering online - just place your order at the walk-up, they rightly prioritize those orders and i’ve never waited more than ten minutes in person.
This place has amazing bagels and bagel sandwiches! They also carry assorted pastries like muffins and cookies. And if you haven't had their 4:30 bar it's delicious! They are a bit pricey for bagels but you get what you pay for and it's totally worth it! Check it out in the morning before the line gets super long or they run out of stuff! Either way it's worth the wait! Go bagels!
These are the best bagels in Roslindale, but that's no excuse for the consistently abysmal service!
This morning I placed an order for an iced coffee and two basic bagel egg sandwiches. The order completion estimate was 50 minutes! In the end, the order wasn't ready until one hour, 20 minutes after it was placed, and both bagel egg sandwiches were stone cold and rock hard. It's incredible that the kitchen logistics are so poor that cooked food is getting cold on the counter, but they can't hand it over to a waiting customer.
While this morning's order is the straw that broke the camels back, it's part of a recurring pattern of late orders (on top of ridiculously long estimated prep time!). I hope service improves so that we can enjoy some bagels.
Somehow they consistently manage to mix orders up even w all online ordering. The food quality is mediocre and the coffee isn't very good but it's all high end prices. And the owners have the gall to add a fee so they can "pay employees fairly" which I doubt they do since the service is so bad
